About This Role

Level 2 NDT Technicians are the backbone of the industry. They perform independent inspections, interpret complex results, and are responsible for quality assurance. Many Level 2 technicians work as independent contractors or site supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

Perform independent NDT inspections across multiple methods

Interpret NDT results and prepare comprehensive reports

Select and set up appropriate NDT equipment and procedures

Train and mentor Level 1 technicians

Conduct equipment calibration and maintenance

Ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes

Document findings and communicate results to clients

Identify equipment or procedure issues
