About This Role

Ultrasonic Technicians specialize in ultrasonic testing (UT), one of the most versatile NDT methods. They work with conventional UT, phased array UT (PAUT), and time-of-flight diffraction (TOFD) techniques for detecting internal and surface flaws.

Key Responsibilities

Perform ultrasonic inspections using conventional and phased array equipment

Calibrate ultrasonic equipment

Interpret ultrasonic data and produce reports

Perform thickness measurements

Detect and characterize internal flaws

Maintain detailed inspection records

Operate advanced UT equipment (PAUT, TOFD)

Troubleshoot equipment issues
